    I have just returned from Candy’s Bush in Moora . I meet a young man from Bunbury [ carrying a huge camera ] after chatting he mention he was a member of your group and was looking for the Moora orchid [ Red]. Just by chance I found one and called him over to share it. I wander off and meet another visiting couple . I showed them a few spots I had seen orchids. We returned to show them the Moora orchid and all that was left was a hole in the ground were the orchid had been. If it was a rabbit it must have been wearing shoe as it left a shoe print behind. To say I was upset is a understatement.

    Unfortunately it is people like this that makes one become secretive about locations. If he is a member of our group he would know it is illegal to pick orchids. It’s a pity you didn’t get his name so we could follow it up.
